The ECLIPSE FN1, developed especially for electrophysiological research, features enhanced operability to facilitate patch-clamp experiments. Advantages offered by the FN1 include slim body, streamlined structure, improved electrode placement, long working distance, and greater noise reduction. A deeper area of the specimen can be observed clearly with infrared (IR) light.

To meet the demands of clinical laboratory specialists and researchers, Nikon has reviewed all aspects of microscope usability to develop the ECLIPSE Ci series of microscopes, which combines superior functionality with operational ease. The Ci is designed to ensure natural posture while viewing images, sample changing and capturing images. Bright, eco-friendly LED illumination reduces the need for frequent lamp replacement*. A variety of accessories are available that support various imaging techniques.

  The SMZ800N offers higher magnification than conventional models, enabling high-resolution observation of minute structures. In combination with the new objective series, its improved chromatic aberration correction provides bright and sharp images through the entire viewfield. The parallel optics design allows ergonomic accessories and observation attachments to be used in a wide range of applications.

Traditional boundaries between scientific fields such as molecular biology and developmental biology are rapidly disappearing as researchers seek to connect findings at the molecular level to those derived from cellular, tissue, and organismal studies. Featuring a zoom magnification of 7.5X and a long working distance of 115mm, Nikon SMZ745 microscopes are well suited for both industrial and biomedical applications. The adoption of a new total reflection prism produces brighter images with higher contrast, and the anti-mold design allows the microscope to be used in environments where the temperature and humidity are high. The SMZ-745T trinocular model comes equipped with a microscope camera port and a built-in 0.55x c-mount adapter, permitting direct mounting of Nikon DS Series Digital Cameras.
